FOR EXTREME LOADS
The material Diepothan® is a polyurethane elastomer with a solid structure and is similar to the material Vulkollan® in its property profile. Designed and tailor made in our house, this material is characterized by a very advantageous combination of physical and chemical properties. This enables a wide range of applications (based on polyester and / or polyether) – especially for extreme requirements.
Moulded parts made of Diepothan® convince by extreme load bearing capacity and are found in many areas of mechanical engineering – especially in applications with low Shore hardness but a high, constant elasticity. Diepothan® has a low swelling behaviour towards water.
Diepothan® is available in the hardness range of 45-98° Shore A (62 Shore D) and free from plasticizers. Additionally, Diepothan® is characterized by its good resistance to mineral oils and greases. It is useable in a wide temperature range which extends from -30 °C up to +80 °C.
We are daily faced with different challenges by our customers. Thanks to our numerous tailor-made Diepothan® qualities which can be adjusted according to our customer requirements, Diepothan® is suitable for solving the most varied tasks. With the ability to adjust settings of hydrolysis, our resistant Diepothan® can be used in seawater and in tropical climate conditions as well. Furthermore, certain recipes are approved according to German Food and Feed Act (LFGB) for usage in food and beverage processing industry.
